“What is The program?”
The Registered apprentice Program is an opportunity to learn how to better provide care for older adults. In the program you will complete on the job training and technical instruction to address the diverse and complex needs of the older adult population within the context of your own current job.
“How long is the program and what does the program work look like?”
The registered apprentice program consists of 2,000 hours of on the job training and 144 hours of related technical instruction. These hours will be completed as a part of your current job and normal functioning.
“Why Should I do it?”
In addition to receiving the skills you need to best care for older adults, you will also Receive a pay increase as a part of taking the course:
